Teresa calls on local small shops to enter national competition

Teresa is calling on small shops in Erith and Thamesmead to enter the All Party Parliamentary Small Shops Group’s Best Small Shops Competition.

Small shops can submit their application to the competition online, detailing why they are the best small shop based on the following criteria: innovation in your business, community engagement and entrepreneurial activity.

Teresa said:

 

“This is a great opportunity for small shops across Erith and Thamesmead to get recognition for the brilliant work they do supporting the community and creating jobs all year round.”

 

Applications must be submitted by 4pm on Friday 30^th January 2015. The small shops selected for the shortlist will be informed by Monday 16^th February 2015. The principals of the shortlisted retailers will be invited to attend the House of Commons awards reception from 1pm-3pm on Wednesday 25^th February 2015.
