Free legal advice surgery this month for constituents living in leasehold or shared ownership properties

Teresa has been in touch with Lease – The Leasehold Advisory Service to arrange a free legal advice surgery for constituents on Tuesday 25th March 2014 from 6 – 8pm. You can determine if you are a member of Teresa’s constituency by submitting your postcode here.

This advice surgery has been organised specifically to assist people who live in leasehold or shared ownership properties, and will be taking place in Abbey Wood.

Trained legal advisers will be on hand throughout the evening to provide constituents with legal advice relating to any difficulties they are experiencing as a result of their leasehold or shared ownership agreements. These problems could range from queries about service charges, to general concerns about the response times of housing associations and their approach to property management.

Given the time-constraints, advisers will only be able to deal with a limited number of cases during the evening. It is necessary to book an appointment in advance of the evening. Individual appointments are scheduled to take place at the following times:

6pm – 6:20pm;

6:30pm – 6:50pm;

7:00pm – 7:20pm;

7:30pm – 7:50pm.

If you would like to book an appointment at any of these times it is advisable to contact Teresa’s office as soon as possible for further information. You can either email Teresa on Teresa.Pearce.MP@parliament.uk, or call the House of Commons switchboard on 0207 219 3000 and ask to be put through to Teresa’s office.

Interested constituents should get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
