On 6 April Teresa took part in a clean-up of Heron Court Canal in Thamesmead with environmental charity Thames21. The clean-up was part of Thames21’s long running Thamesmead Project, sponsored by Team Gallions.
Teresa was joined by Mayoral Candidate Ken Livingstone, Councillor Sandra Bauer, Trust Thamesmead, Windrush Primary School, and many other volunteers who filled rubbish bags, removed a scooter, discarded wooden furniture and metal work from the canal.
