Teresa is asking local people to take part in the public consultation on future Thames river crossings launched by Transport for London today. The consultation runs between 6 February and midnight 5 March 2012.
The proposed package up for consultation includes:
- A new road tunnel at Silvertown connecting the Greenwich Peninsula with the Royal Docks. Earliest delivery date 2021.
- A new vehicle ferry at Gallions Reach between Beckton and Thamesmead that may replace the Woolwich Ferry. Earliest delivery date 2017.
