Teresa encourages local young people to take part in ‘Chance to be Chancellor’ and the Youth Budget 2012

Teresa is supporting the launch of Chance to be Chancellor 2012, an online tool set up by The Citizenship Foundation and Aviva that challenges young people aged 14-18 to make informed decisions on real taxation & spending policies.

Last year Chance to be Chancellor engaged 3000 young people across the UK and published their views in the first ever ‘Youth Budget’ which was launched. Teresa has written to local schools to encourage Citizenship classes to take part this year.

Running until the 20th February, participants enter into a national competition to win great prizes such as iPad and visit HM Treasury in Westminster. To find out more and get involved please visit:www.chancetobechancellor.org.uk
