Teresa calls for musicians and film makers to enter Rock the House and Film the House

Teresa is calling on musicians and film-makers in her constituency to enter Parliament’s largest competitions, Rock the House and Film the House.

Founded by Intellectual Property Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mike Weatherley MP, the competitions are sponsored by industry and supported by celebrity Patrons.

Both competitions offer the opportunity for creative people living in Erith & Thamesmead to have their work judged by the leading lights of industry and win prizes ranging from festival slots, studio time, equipment, and the opportunity to have your work premiered in London’s West End, to name a few.

Teresa said:

Rock the House and Film the House are great competitions, offering aspiring musicians and film-makers across my constituency the opportunity to try and find a way into tough industries. I hope many creative-types across Erith & Thamesmead will consider entering these competitions.”

Rock legend and actor, Alice Cooper said:

Rock the House is a great project which celebrates the fantastic diversity of the British music scene and gives musicians a vehicle through which to hold their legislators accountable about protecting the music industry’s intellectual property.”

Competition Founder Mike Weatherley MP said:

“Every year the competition gets bigger and better and my thanks go to our Patrons, Sponsors, Judges, the entrants, the MPs who take part. If you’re a musician or a film maker, make sure you take part in the 2014 competition!”
